vogue 8881, mccall’s 6703

After a disastrous fabric order in which I bought only half the amount I needed (who knows, sometimes I think I’m losing it), I finally got my shit together and finished a new pair of leggings and my first Vogue 8881.

I’ve made a few pairs of leggings recently but I didn’t have any tops long enough to wear with them. I’m not one of those who says “leggings aren’t pants,” because frankly I don’t care what you wear, but for me personally I need something covering my rear.

This shirt has such a unique design and although the pieces were like a puzzle, it came together really easily. The neckline is what sold me.

And this is what became of the fabric I ordered initially. I love it so much, but it’s out of stock already so I had to find something else to do with it. If there’s one thing my Stella will have enough of this winter, it’s leggings.
